There are four types of occupancy:

Shared Occupancy (Bunkhouse only)
Small groups sharing the bunkhouse, kitchen and lounge/dining facilities with other groups. Different groups will be allocated different rooms.

Full Occupancy (Bunkhouse only)
Hiring all the accommodation and having the exclusive use of all the facilities on the first floor (all 7 rooms and the upstairs toilet facilities) the ground floor shower rooms, laundry room and dining area. Kitchen and toilet facilities are shared if a community event is scheduled. You are, of course, welcome to join in with the fun and will be informed of any events that are scheduled during your stay. The Community Hall is not included. If the Hall is required in addition to Full Occupancy, then the Hall must be booked out separately for the full duration of your Bunkhouse booking.

Sole Occupancy (Bunkhouse only)
This gives you the privilege of the sole use of the bunkhouse and kitchen facilities. The maximum number staying overnight is 22, utilising 4 single sofa-beds in the lounge on the ground floor, in addition to the 18 beds on the first floor. The Community Hall is not included. If the Hall is required in addition to Sole Occupancy, then the Hall must be booked out separately for the full duration of your Bunkhouse booking.

Special Event (Bunkhouse and Community Hall)
You will have Sole Occupancy plus exclusive use of the Hall for up to 100 people throughout the duration of your stay. If the Hall (and/or kitchen) are required outside the Sole Occupancy period, for instance for more preparation or clearing up time, then the Hall must be booked out separately for the extra periods. Sole Occupancy can be booked in advance for additional nights. The Hall is not available as overnight accommodation.

Please see our Terms & Conditions for full information on prices and payments.

Check-in

Check-in time is by arrangement and should be between 4pm and 9pm on your day of arrival. On arrival you will be met by one or more members of the community who will show you the facilities, explain how things work, and answer any questions. They will issue your group with key cards, providing you with access to the facilities you have booked for the duration of your stay. They will also be on call throughout your stay, for emergencies only.

N.B. Outside the period from 4pm to 9pm, we cannot guarantee that there will be anyone available to meet you and let you into the Bunkhouse, even if you forewarn us of early or late arrival. If you are travelling far, please check the map and directions in advance, and allow sufficient time for your journey. Please allow for extra traffic on a Friday afternoon, especially if travelling from London and in the Summer months.

Check-out

Please vacate the property by 10.30 am on the day of departure to allow us sufficient time for cleaning and any maintenance before the next visitors arrive. When vacating the premises, please leave the bunkhouse clean and tidy using the cleaning products provided and inform us of any damage or breakages.
